Prayer for a Dawning Hope

Holy One of Infinite Love,
your fragrance of grace wafts upon us
like the scent of fresh rain upon blooming earth.
As new life buds forth from the sacred soil,
nudge us to lean into the dark
with a waking heart and keen awareness
to your Spirit breaking forth like morning dawn -
re-creating us anew in love once more.
May your blessing grow our hope
in the dawning of a new day,
a new season, a new moment. Amen.
